Grab your Lee-loo Dallas multipass and come to Lido Cinemas on Friday 4th August at 9pm to re-visit one of the all-time great sci-fi adventures on the big screen for its 20th anniversary, The Fifth Element.

Directed by Luc Besson (Léon: The Professional, LucyValerian and the City of a Thousand Planets), who wrote an early draft of the story when he was a bored adolescent in school (!!), The Fifth Element has become a cult favorite over the past two decades. Starring Bruce Willis as military man-turned-cab driver Korben Dallas, who is by chance thrust into a world-saving, galaxy-spanning adventure after picking up Milla Jovovich’s Leeloo, the titular Fifth Element and humanity’s last hope.

With a deadly race of aliens ready to destroy Earth, a second race, allied with the humans, send a young girl, Leeloo (Jovovich), who is the fifth element, or supreme being. Her goal is to retrieve four stones and activate them in a temple in Egypt to save Earth from destruction.

Unfortunately things don't go smoothly and she requires the help of a number of humans, namely a priest (Holm) and a cab driver / ex-military expert, Korben Dallas (Willis). Others, such as Mr. Zorg (Oldman) and an army of alien shape-shifting mercenaries are also interested in the stones and the race to find them begins.
