The Debra La Velle Quartet
The Story
Debra La Velle (vocalist/songwriter) has worked a full, varied musical life, spanning over more than three decades.
In recent years she released her penned debut album ‘Journey Of The Heart’ showcasing heartfelt Folk/Country/RN’B/Gospel songs, followed by her jazz/tango release ‘When The Nightbird Calls’, soul-influenced ‘Set Me Free’, and 1920s jazz-inspired ‘Chasing Moonbeams’ which reached number one in the Australian Regional Radio Charts and is currently in the process of recording her debut jazz album.
Debra La Velle & her stella line-up of musicians will be performing an intimate evening of sultry Swing, Bluesy & Latin tunes from the 1920s onwards including songs written and performed by Burt Bacharach, The Beatles, Frankie Valli, Charlie Chaplin, Charlie Parker, Ella Fitzgerald, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Blossom Dearieas well as her highly acclaimed original compositions.
