Sarah Carso is a Jazz vocalist from Paris, France, specialising in the music of the Great American Songbook, French Jazz, and lesser-known Jazz of the Mid-Twentieth Century.

Ms. Carso has performed professionally in Paris, in addition to studying a Masters of Music in New York City, where she also performed extensively throughout the last decade.

Ms. Carso released her first album, ‘Patchwork’ with her quintet in Paris, and may now be heard regularly as a vocal feature throughout Melbourne. Since arriving in Australia, Ms. Carso has performed with esteemed Jazz musicians including Peter Baylor, Adam Rudegeair, and Tom Flenady. Ms. Carso’s style combines the influences of the great Jazz masters of the Twentieth Century with her own personal quirk and flair, producing a conception of the Jazz idiom unique amongst Melbourne vocalists.
