"The bright visuals, vastly changing landscapes, strong friendship themes, and animal fun facts will make it appealing to younger viewers" – Common Sense Media
The most beautiful savannah in Africa is full of dangers, especially if you are a meerkat. That is why the young meerkat Tafiti has to follow his grandpa’s motto: ‘The world is dangerous. That's why we stick to ourselves!’ So when Tafiti meets Bristles the bush pig, he knows they can’t be friends.
But when Bristles is attacked by an eagle, it’s Tafiti who rushes to his rescue. Desperately seeking a friend, the fun-loving bush pig follows Tafiti home, unintentionally causing an unfortunate accident: Tafiti’s grandpa is bitten by a deadly poisonous snake, and only a mythical blue desert flower can save him. Tafiti sets off on a perilous journey to find the flower, convinced he must do it alone. It’s up to Bristles to prove that adventures are always better with friends!
