Combining stop-motion with vibrant colour, this warmhearted family film tells the story of eleven-year-old Tony, whose skin glows with radiating light. Day after day, Tony spends his time at home and dreams about having a friend. His wish is granted before Christmas, when Tony meets Shelly, a peculiar girl who moves into his house, and a new friendship is born. Together, they embark on an adventure to seek the mysterious source of darkness that lurks in their apartment building.
Inspired by the old stop-motion masters, Filip Pošivac’s Tony, Shelly and the Magical Light is an enchanting animation about friendship and imagination, light and darkness.
