The Story

Mariana Cengel Solcanská’s’ The Enchanted Cave is awash in the genres of fantasy and fairytale, transporting audiences to a world of myths and legends. Hidden in a vast forest, a cave that flouts great riches is found sealed by a rock, leaving a kingdom in peril. With a selfish queen at the throne, who is set to open the cave by any means possible, director Mariana tells a story about human greed, but also one of hope, as she uncovers the story of brave Ada, the daughter of Buchwald, and Zach and Cyril, the brothers who tussle for the royal throne.

A fairy tale full of tension, mystery and adventure, The Enchanted Cave holds the audience with great dramatic plots: will Ada find her lost sister, how far will Berta go to enter the hidden cave, and who is the rightful heir to the royal throne.
