Linda and Marek's lives are irrevocably altered when a routine pregnancy scan reveals that their unborn daughter is likely to have Down syndrome. With only weeks to make an impossible decision, they jointly reject the prospect of termination, believing in their capacity to raise their longed-for child. But certainty soon gives way to doubt as they confront the realities of raising a child with a disability, the weight of family expectations, and the quiet pressures of a society that questions their choice.

As the fragile foundations of their relationship begin to shift, Linda, a gifted violinist on the verge of a promising career, must reconcile her ambitions with an uncertain future, while Marek struggles to provide stability as his own world begins to unravel. Together they are forced to navigate the delicate space between fear and hope, discovering that love is not measured by certainty, but by the courage to embrace the unknown.

Led by powerful performances from Kryštof Hádek and Pavla Gajdošíková, Dancing with the Bear is a restrained, intimate drama about parenthood, compassion, and the profound complexity of choice.
