LADIES OF JAZZ: THE GIRLS IN THE BAND Q&A SCREENING + FEM BELLING TRIO JAZZ SETS

As part of the Jewish International Film Festival, Lido is hosting a special Q&A screening of 2011 documentary The Girls in the Band, which brings to light the untold stories of female jazz and big band instrumentalists and their journeys from the late 1930s to the present day.

Director Judy Chaikin will attend the screening and join in a post-film Q&A session.

To get you warmed up before the film, the all-woman Fem Belling Trio are playing two special sets in the Lido Jazz Room - one at 5pm and another at 6pm. Each set will run for 45 minutes and entry will be at the special price of $15 for everyone.
